Drawing Realistic

The dreaded day....we are drawing people :o. So, as a beginning we started with eyes, mouths and noses...which suck. I'm horrible at drawing people...-_-

A Bug's Eye View

Bugs eye view! The latest project was to paint a piece of nature large up from a bugs point of view.  The flower I drew was an iris (I left a LOT of detailing out) with shades of purple paint and yellow and gold near the middle. The background is a green blur, with pretty much me not caring what it looks like.

Read Perspective Picture

A watercolor picture for art (again) using perspective. The sign is originally from my school library, the picture taken with a camera and then re-drawn on a different sheet then painted, with light-darkness. I'm actually rather pleased with how it turned out (for once). The colors where Green, Blue and Purple. :)

'Dainty' contrast

More artwork for Mrs. Schneid. The inspiration is you would get a word(mine being 'Dainty') and paint a picture that you believed fit the word. What that word made you think of. When I hear the word 'dainty' I always think tea party's and then I thought of a little girls tea party. Have you ever seen one? They're adorable, the kids trying to act all proper.  Thus this picture of a little girls tea set was born, with her teddy bear in attendance. The word is painted in the background. Also we are using contrast, with the tea set on the table along with the floor being warm colors and the background and chair more cool colors.

Monochromatic Orange Still Life Painting

A clearer picture of a project I uploaded earlier. The older project has been deleted. This was a monochromatic still life (for Mrs. Schneids art class). It was black, white and one color which I chose orange. The 4 objects I chose were a Dr. Pepper bottle, a paintbrush, a vase, and a combination lock.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, though I suppose I could of added more to the background. It was light to dark, with the light coming from the right corner, and getting darker as it goes down.

Black and White grey scale

2 Pictures for art class, (Art 2) where the main idea/theme was the grey scale. The 1st was a basic light in the middle going out, the picture something close to the moon, and the 2rd was a flower with defined lines between the colors, and grey-scale background and mixed vines bordering. 3 flower petals coming from the flower on the wind as a little detail.
